FAQs from Chennai students
When should I book my flight?
4–6 weeks before departure for the best student fares. Book a refundable ticket if your visa is still pending. We coordinate with travel partners to lock student fares with extra baggage allowance (typically 30–40 kg).
How much cash should I carry?
US$500–1000 in cash + forex card loaded with first-month expenses (₹50,000–1 lakh equivalent). Don't carry more than US$10,000 without declaration — most banks recommend forex card over cash.
Is on-campus or off-campus accommodation better?
On-campus (university hostel) for first semester — safer, easier check-in, included in lodging fee. Move off-campus from second semester once you know the city. We book first-term hostel + share off-campus listings for later.
Do you offer airport pickup at the destination?
Yes — via our alumni network and university buddy programs. Pickup, SIM activation and first-day check-in support are included for students travelling to UK, USA, Canada, Australia and Ireland.
Is pre-departure support free?
Pre-departure orientation, document organisation and alumni intros are free for students who completed admissions through us. Standalone packages (for students placed elsewhere) start at ₹15,000.
